i have a bare bones on a train. i have a cobra FI2000 and have it mounted with 2-sided tape on top of the battery. i would take a pic but the bike is in storage for winter
Don't know how much this will help, but here's a pic. It looks pretty well recessed but the way the seat actually wraps around the fender I think it's going to be very close. You could, possibly, cut a chunk of the seat pan out to relieve it for the fuelpak.
I just measured the recess on a Bare Bones Gel seat I had in the garage. I'd say around the perimeter of the seat section the recess is a solid 3/4". However the portion in the back center of the seat is less (where the GEL sticker is) as it bulges outward (downward) in that area. Possibly a little hammering might do the trick. The recess on the backrest portion however is even less. And from looking at your photos this might be the area you'll have problems.
try it and see if it fits, if you have it already. put some clay on the fuelpak and see how much room you have. Mine fits good but I don't have any addon stuff in there not the seat in the sig pic
I had to use a deeper pan and put the PCIII on top of the fuse box to make mine fit then find a spot for the load equalizer. Just move stuff around till it fits. I'll work some how.
and the fuse box will push down lower to make room if you break the tabs that hold it in place.
good luck
