Default It finally happened...

no wreck.. please don't jinx me..

i was wondering when it was going to happen. i scrapped my boards going through a turn.. i always wondered just how far i had to lean'er to scrap boards, now i know.. it wasn't even a high speed curve, moderate speed with a curve sharper then i thought it was.

it scared the hell out of me at first, then i thought COOL !!!.. i'll know what to expect next time..

Keep them sharpened! Like a Ben Hur / Mad Max kind of last resort against the cages.

Scared the crap out of me the first time it happened too. Then I started to do it intentionally just to get used to them scrapping.

If you have the footboard extenders, it'll happen much more often. Just get used to it.

I've gotten so use to the scrape sound I look forward to it.

I like to take off from a stop sign turning to the left and dragging my foot until I hear the scrape, then slide my foot on to the floor board as it lifts off the road surface.

Oh, don't try this with stock Dunlops.
