Default removable backrest

I bought a detachable backrest/docking kit off ebay. The listing said it was off a 05 heritage which is what I have. I went to install it today and I dont see how it mounts. My bike has one bolt and 2 studs for the saddle bags but the other bracket has 2 holes only and it will be missing 1 stud for the bags and they are not secure without it. Is their a trick to it or did I get taken on ebay?

look up the package on the HD site and if its availible, then click on "download instructions", it should explain it.

You will probably need the docking kit that is used with bags. There is one for bags and one for no bags. This is just my guess.

my backrest is the detachable style, but the bags are hard bolted.. there is just a spacer in between the bag and the fender strut/support similiar to the windshield detach mount rubbers.
