I just sprayed some lightweight grease on the axles when I put my new wheels on a couple thousand kms ago. When I pulled them out there was pretty much nothing on them as far as lubrication and they had some oxidation forming on them. Didn't even know the factory used anything on them...
I have some silver Loctite anti seize, tho. Used that on my O2 sensors...

The most common are Copper and Silver. They actually have a whole bunch of versions.
You can use either one it's just copper is extreme overkill.
LOCTITEŽ Silver
Distillates (petroleum), hydrotreated heavy naphthenic
n-Heptane
Acetone
Distillates (petroleum), hydrotreated light naphthenic
Graphite
Calcium oxide
Aluminum
Silica, quartz
LOCTITEŽ Copper Very high temp applications ( up to 2400ş depending on which part number)
Components:
Mineral Oil
Calcium stearat
Copper
Graphit
Silica, quartz
