i was thinking of putting my stock heat shields on my rush slip on mufflers do you think they look good or leave them off. i never saw a picture with them on the rush slip on thank you people
As much as I like my Rush, I've never seen a set with the HD HS's on them.
Does the stockers heatshields bolt or clamp on. I really wouldn't drill any holes in the mufflers, thinking it could cause them to rust or the chrome could start peeling. Clamping them would prob be OK.
Ryan, Thanks again for helping me get my baffles re-wrapped a while back, the new way Rush has of doing them (double wrap) even gives the pipes an even Deeper sound and I know the wrap will have to last longer..
The HD stock heat shields will work fine on the Rush Slip-Ons. I had them on mine before I ordered a set of black heat shields from Rush to go on the chrome mufflers. I thought the contrasting look was very good.
The stock heatshields will fit. I know of a few customers that have installed them with Rush slip-ons but I've never seen any pics.
