I would like to move my apes a bit foward but when I put my winshield on it knocks it foward out of the rubber grommets.what are you guys doing with apes and a windshield.
I am still running my stock Mini Apes so I don't have an issue.
But thinking maybe U could put a shim between Ur brackets and Ur shield at the top, if its the top part thats causing the problem..
All pends how much U more room U need as far as the thickness of the shim...
Is it hitting the very top of Ur shield or mid lower.. If its the top only, might consider cuttting Ur shield shorter too.
I have 12 inch apes,i have the bars pulled back enuff where the windshield is touching them,i put 2 clear rubber bumpers on the shield so it dont scratch(you find them in home depot goes between the glass and a table)i also took all the shims out of the mounting and bow my windshield a little for a tight fit,,
