What is the dielectric gel?

 

1156 and 1157...no crossreference needed. They are standard automotive bulbs and correct ,the LL is longlife .Dieelectric "grease"s to seal out moisture and prevent corrosion.HD bulbs, I beleive go for 3.95 each..Dont bother as they are the same bulbs

 

Just bought a replacement bulb for my front turn signal on my 04 heritage. $1.69 at harley dealer. Didn't find that to be out of line.

 

only had to replace one when I broke it mounting my windshield hardware. Was like 2 bucks at the HD dealer. Only thing I wanna do now is buy me some smoked lenses on the front, I think those are sweet on the NT.

 

Carefull when buying 'no name', bulbs. I bought some from local auto parts store - dual pole and correct size, however the amperage was too high and the signal relay would not work. The right bulbs at the dealer cost me 40 cents more.
