there is an interesting idea. Who's buying two sets? LOL.

I am for sure. 4-banger if I can twist his arm a little with a bribe.
Ive been checking out all the suspension packages available for my Deluxe. Even though Im down with the Shotgun shocks/Hi-lo air ride, they are a little too steep in price for my taste.
This RAP system seem to fit the bill. Adjustable ride, adjustable height, easy to install, no electronic components and probably not even close to $1500.

Sounds good to me.
Agreed, we'll be the 'guinea pigs' if the price is right...

The RAP system just adjusts the preload. Height adjustment is still done manually by the adjusting nuts.
I was looking at the shotgun, but also a bit too steep for me. I was getting ready to pull the trigger on the regular 422's, but this looks even better.
I just got off the phone with Progressive. Their contention is that the swingarm is a solid piece and that any increase or decrease in preload of a single shock will transmit throughout the swingarm. This is contradictory to all previous instructions to adjust both shocks alike. I'm interested in this product but will wait for reviews.
My guess would be that you set the non RAP (right shock) to the softest setting, then use the RAP (left shock) to stiffen the preload, which says to me if the RAP shock is in the max stiffest setting, it’s doing most of the work, ie, you’re running on one shock in this configuration, which potentially also has a heavier rider load. Think I’ll wait for beta tester comments.
