Default turn signal module

Hello all, i am new to this forum, i bought a 2002 custom sportster 1200. by custom i mean this thing doesnt have but a few stock parts left on it. its been a big head ache so far as far as electrical goes. but one problem i have is, when i hit the turn signal switch the the turn signals just stay solid. they dont flash at all. and it shows that up on the indicate light above the speedo as well. i dont have front turn signals but i did check the wires and none of those flash either. were is the turn signal module at? i assume that is whats wrong with it. if you have a suggestion on whats wrong with it that would be very helpful!

thank you!

Even if you pull turn signal module off the lights should blink. The module is a grey box behind the fuse panel. I just pulled mine of my dyna and they do. I believe its purpose is to turn off blinkers over a certain distance or time.
