Default softail custom vs softail deluxe help
thinking about converting my 88 softail custom to a softail deluxe with white wall tires & fish tails. what parts and or changes do i need to make other than the bigger fenders? want the rear lower than the front and beach bars. Thanks in advance

Probably new front forks and triple trees
Tires and wheels
Pipes
Some sort of lowering kit
Fenders
Aux light kit
Seat

Yup, that is pretty much the list. Do the math...you would probably be ahead buying a used deluxe.

Thanks for the info guys, I had thought about buying a deluxe but didn't want the extra payment. Trying to finish building my 52 pickup $$$$$$$
