Thanks to all of the other addicts in this forum for these 4 relatively easy, yet very cool ideas/mods.
I added the Laminex yellow tint to my passing lamps this evening. Took a total of 15 minutes from start to finish. I have to admit. It looks 10 times better in person. These pix do it no justice. Great product from Laminex. very easy application, no bubbles either. Very good quality.
Added the Heritage Fender Rail to my rear fender. Peice of cake man. Epoxied the bracket to the inside of my fender with a little Loctite caulk. Used a couple of very short 5/16 chrome bolts with a few locknuts so I did NOT have to drill into the fender. I really like the way it came out.
I Chromed both upper swingarms with some original HD parts. Another 15 minute job from start to finish. Really added a nice touch in my opinion.
Last but not least, the Softbrake license plate relocator. This was the most difficult mod for me. took me a few nights to actually get this one done. Thx to Kozy for the help with this one too. Had some difficulties getting to the nuts on the inside of the fender holding the brake light housing to the fender. just couldnt get any tools in there to help break them loose. Kozy suggested the thumb ratched. $10 bucks from Sears hardware and it worked like a charm. Thx Kozy! After that, pretty straight forward and much better looking than the original location.
That softbrake was a huge PITA!!! I just put mine on last night and took me nearly 1 1/2 hours! LOL I finally had to use my little 1/4" socket set and it worked great after I figured out how to drop that damn wire cover off from under the fender! lol
But man relocating the plate cleans up the rear end nicely.
I'm really impressed with softbrake.com and their delivery time. I think I ordered the new tail light housing and plate relocator last Thursday night and it arrived on Monday from Cali. (at least that was the postage mark)

Tell me about it. They were super fast! I ordered mine and had it in two days! Way cool.

Thx man. The seat is from C&C. Its not as low or as tapered as a Lapera Barebones, which my buddy has and I tested, but it is way more comfortable. I did not mind giving up a little in looks for the added comfort. Its a really nicely made seat too. Good guys at C&C!
Moto, just to get you thinking a little more, here's another pic!
Spooch, send me some close ups if you don't mind of how you mounted the heritage fender guard.
