I have the "standard" engine on my Heritage Classic. As for on a Deluxe, I like the looks of the nostalgic engine guard. Not sure how difficult it would be to mount highway pegs on it though because of the curves. I think HD makes a footpeg mount just for the nostalgic engine guard.
I don't use the built in highway pegs cause I can barely reach it - 5'4" but my son who's taller than me says he likes it and comfortable with him. Maybe some member who has it can chime in and give thier own review. Thanks for the compliments.
