Need one for sure on a lady's bike they drop them from time to time.
Just like a jock strap. You would not need one since you need *****. Get on your tricycle and pedal on out of here troll.Your getting really old with your 12 yr old mentality and smart azz posts. Grow up.
I've got the mustache bars. I use the footrests all the time, I'm 5'10 and they fit me very well. They keep my feet in closer to the bike, not as splayed out as with the add on pegs.
I put the Chrome (3rd pic) on the wife's ride. The mustache looks good, but you only have one place to rest your feet, and if that one spot doesn't fit you... tough ****. The nostalgic tube diameter is 1". The only foot rest clamps you can get look like they came off of a Schwinn. Those were the reasons I picked the chrome engine guard. I like the 50832-07 adjustable highway peg mount (fits 1-1/4 bar). You can put that sucker anywhere you want.
I have the Mustache and I think they are the best fit for the Deluxe style. I think maybe your choices in regards to the way your pictures are lined up may be interfering with the pollresults. I voted prior to seeing your second post explaining the picture styles are in a different order then your poll descriptions.Of cousre I could be wrong.
I like the Nostolgic bars, they allow you to add adjustable foot pegs to fit the rider, where the mustache doesn't accomplish this goal. Regular bars just don't look right on the Nostolgic look of the Deluxe.
The mustache scared me off because I already had to do adjustments to get my position right (seat mods, etc) and didn't want to be stuck with non-adjustable foot placement.
Didn't like the Highway pegs for the nostalgic.
You can see close-ups of the bar and the highway pegs in my gallery if your interested.
The defining factor really is ...what do you like? Good luck with your choice!!!
