Default Mixing Stabilizers??

Hey,

So I was bascially got tore a new a$$hole by the ol' man on the weekend. He swears by Seafoam and when he heard I used the cheap a$$ Canadian Tire brand Stabil, he read me the riot act!! haha

Anyways, my questions is, can I mix the two? If I bought a can of Seafoam, could I add it to my already treated fuel or will the two cause issues?

Thanks,

I use StaBil in my boat and it works great.
I am willing to bet both products are chemically the same.
Here is an ongoing discussion about both products:

I think the argument is akin to the Chevy vs. Ford debate. Neither side uses any hard evidence to back up their opinion, their reasoning is based purely based on emotion "because that is what I've always used!!".

Use the Stabil just to bug your Dad. They both work, I don't know which is better, but the first year I winterized with Seafoam, I had to rebuild carbs. Might not be because of Seafoam, but I stick with Marine Stabil just because it works better with ethanol.
