Dean, Ive got the engine guard and hwy pegs on mine same position as lawnmower man. Best thing ive done. Gives you so many options to move your legs around on a long ride. Plus it looks cool. Just talked to the guy at Fairing Factory and my bags are delayed at the paint shop . Oh well, Im working this weekend anyway. Such is life.
Chroming considering I'm suffering from chrome whoreisem. But I was going to start on the front end, but looking at her in the garage this morning I'm thinking of starting the rear to flow the chrome onto the swingarm, caliper etc. I've got to get her lowered soon. It's never going to end.

I've definitely got to get the guards going on. A friend just had to do a slow speed lay down thanks to a dumbass cage that cut him off and it saved his RK from major damage. So functionality is priority and comfort fits right up there.

Thanks! My first major mod as well and fits my riding style and the functionality has helped with my comfort level from old injuries that hurt like hell in a reaching position. Now my arms just hang down, zero reaching, yay, my arm isn't going numb anymore! LOL
I love the beach bars on the Heritage! I have a set of those same bars in my garage (got them cheap on eBay). I am installing them on my '01 HS. I am just waiting for my new brake hose, throttle and Idle cables to arrive. I'll post when done.
