So I bought a sissy bar from someone on this forum for my crossbones, it didn't come with any docking hardware and it seems like it is too wide. Do I need to buy mounting plates or anything like that for the bike?
this is the bar http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US
Thanks!
I am probably an idiot, but i can only find the part number for the turn signal re locator, do I need that and the docking? Thanks, this is driving me nuts!
That I don't know, don't have the sissy bar or docking kit. Someone else will know. As for the turn signal relocation, if I recall correctly a short session with a dremel to cut a bit of the locking mechanism should make it possible to use without relocation kit.
If its the quick release bar then you are gonna need the docking hardware to go with it. WITCH SHOULD HAVE BEEN PROVIDED WITH THE BAR ! Who did you buy it from ?
for all of the detachable sissy bars the docking hardware and a turn signal relocation kit are required. those parts on not included as part of the one piece kits. When I put my sissy bar on I didn't have to purchase a relocation kit because I had already moved the turn signals to my laydown license plate
