Default Leftover 2011 Fat Boy

Need some opinions... I sold my old fat bob over a year ago and miss riding dearly.. i went to the dealer a few weeks ago and they had a 2011 chrome yellow fat boy for $3200 off msrp (sale price 13.9k).. I would prefer to have black but yellow isn't that bad..

Im guessing they are having hard time selling it due to the color..should i take the deal or just get a 2012 for full msrp.. having a major hard time with this

Any thoughts.??

I like yellow and I like saving money. 2012 would lose that much next year, so let it somebody else's loss.

That's a tough one. the yellow with all the chrome is not a bad looking bike, but i dont know if i could live with it day in and day out. Have you ever bought anything that was brightly colored and kept it. Just dont let us talk you into it because it sounds like your already questioning it. On the other hand, buy it and after a while you cant live with the color, rattlecan it flat black

If you want black you won't be happy with yellow even when trying to talk yourself into it afterwards. Get what you want, it's too important to you to not.

No yellow is not my first choice, i would have liked black. I can't stand the red or baby blue.. so yellow would be my #2 believe it or not. Yellow and lots of chrome does look good.

3200 off and free 1k service is so good, i wonder if i could squeeze their arm for more off.. not sure. very tough decision

Saving money is good! Buy the bike......take part of the $3200 you save, get some different tins on eBay and sell your yellow one once you switch them out or just spend the savings on custom paint. My Fatboy is Pearl White Gold.........not the usual Harley color, I like having a Harley a little different from all the typical black Harleys (not saying black is bad) there's just alot of black bikes.

First, it is obvious that you are trying to talk yourself into liking the color. You either like it or you don't. Remember, you are paying extra for that color!

Second and more importantly, get that idea of paying full list price for ANY bike out of your head. I bought mine brand new for full retail...HOWEVER, the cost of the tax ($$$) was INCLUDED and I got hundreds in store credit. Still, I know of some who did even better than that! If your dealer does not want to sell you a bike at the right price, be polite and thank them for their time, wish them a good day (and new year) and walk out the door. Somewhere, there will be a dealership or even an individual who will be serious about hammering out a deal that will make both of you happy.
