I got it on my bike.....love it.

My Dyno tuner did a great job and the bike runs fantastic. There isn't much room for a piggy back set-up, which put the PCV out of line-up.

I have no intentions of messing with it myself or doing any self-tuning, so I didn't need the TTS.

I went with the SESRT, and have not problems with it. Yeah, its married to the bike....but thats not a big deal. By the time I am looking for a new sled....Im sure what I got wont even be compatible with the new stuff that comes out.

That's right. I had to replace a perfectly good Power Commander because my tuner upgraded their tools and didn't support the old RS232 interface any more.

I hope USB will be around for a while ...

I just found my dyno chart from my stage 1 mod. I have the SE Pro Tuner, V&H BR 2into2 and a SE heavy breather and my results were 72HP/88tq with a 2010 Deluxe

Both are good tools in the hands of a good dyno tuner. I had the SE pro tuner on my 2011 heritage and loved it, we'll worth the money. I'm going aftermarket on my new roadglide just because I don't want to depend on an HD shop for future tunes. A lot of guys are going power vision or thundermax because they want to tweak constantly or are regularly changing exhaust intakes or engine upgrades. They are both good units from what I've read and more power to those that enjoy the tweaking, I prefer to set it and forget it. My heritage ran like a beast from the day I had it tuned till the day I traded it and I did nothing to it in between.

My personal opinion is to avoid using a piggy-back device IF you have to move or otherwise modify the Factory ECM. On a previous bike (Suzuki DL-1000), I used a PC-V and it worked great. The PC-V mounted out of the way and had long leads for connecting into the system. When I purchased my Fatboy I first tried the PC-V, but due to space limitations, I would of had to move the ECM from the factory mounting point and velcro it in a different location. That was not something I was willing to do. So I went with a SERT.

no one has mentioned the Power vision tuner. A license can be bought for use on a 2nd bike. It flashes the ecm so it also doesn't take up under the seat space.

I have a 2012 DELUXE with SERT (screaming eagle race tuner) Samson true duals, and screaming eagle intake.

DYNO results were MAX HP 74.73 and max Torque 96.22

Not sure if they are even good numbers and not even sure what stock numbers are. I've never ridden a HD 103 without tuner so nothing to compare it to.

Got my "SERT" back in 07 at the 1K service when I first bought the bike and added stg1 (Pipes and SE-AC), LOVE IT, I don't/haven't had to mess or touch it at all since it was dialed in with the dyno. She now has 43K on her and still is perfect.

When I added the cams at 15k in 09 the dealer had a winter special and they had a special on cam install and threw in a free dyno turn tweak after it was all done.

Son has has 3 new bikes since 07, and on all 3 he has done cams and SERT tuner, well actually his 07 had the SERT and on his 09 and 10 he had the SEPST installed. He also loves the SE tuners and he to has never had a problem or had to adjust them after they were installed and dynoed.

I well add that we have a really good Master wrench at our dealership that knows how to tune pretty good and he is the only person we let touch our bikes for tuning there.

Once tuned in You should never have to tune it again unless U change something on Ur motor. Thats why U will be better off to do all Ur mods at once and then have her tuned.
