Use a wooden dowel and a rubber mallot it will tap right out. Then use a bunch of anti seize when you put it together and it will slide right out next time.

Thanks, in fact, luckily I had an old wooden paper towel hangar dowel that was thrown in the garage a few years ago that I found and with that and a couple whacks with the rubber mallet and she popped right out.
