Apes with a bob'd rear fender would look sick on that bike.

I would insert that 16"s would be the best, at your height - and likely more comfortable, though that is very subjective. To my eye, 16s aren't 'over the top.'

I think the Train is one the badassest ( hahaha, that's the first time I used that word) bike out there. Im lookin at gettin one this year myself. Gonna put carlinis evils on there. Looks great with drags but I think Evils just look awesome!!! Those Train Pic Thread guys have some wicked rydes, it's just that...well..... They're all nutz!!!!

I think they would look great too but at 6'4" 12" is way to short in my opinion. Apes will not disrupt the flow of the bike, rather they will give it a bit of a different stance that wills till look great. 14"-17" evil apes in black are the ticket for your ride, or some RSD kind apes in 16". At least that is my vote.
