Seriously? You get a thread full of people that haven't read anything in it or don't know what a deuce is trying to answer a questions and you expect me to congratulate everyone on being able to post and give them a gold star?

Here, let me see if I can get it clearer than the first post.

I own a 2006 Softail Deuce.
The backrest attaches to the bike via (by) a plate that's bolted into the middle of the fender under the passenger pillion of a 2 up seat.
I'm putting a solo seat on.
I need something to cover the plate with the bolts.
I want to ability to put the backrest back on for trips and luggage.
I do not want to remove the plate from the middle of the fender.
Is there a way to cover it?

I'm thinking solo seat and small passenger seat pillion. Maybe I could even shave it down.

I don't know if you are still following this but I put a Mustang fender bib on mine when I ride with just the solo seat (Mustang). The bolts do cause it to bulge up a bit but it looks better than having nothing covering the bolts. To me, that is a very poor design on HD's part....

I still need to do something about it, but I was messing with putting a bigger rear wheel on and I'm thinking about chopping the fender, so I wanted to wait.
