Finished up the install on the fairing this weekend (got the turns relocated). The audio is great, but I'm not 100% sold on the looks yet. I had a vision in my head and this is not exactly what I was seeing. Might be the headlight bezel or the windshield??? I do have a shorter windscreen for it. I may give that a try. Let me know what you guys think.
Looks good, I agree a shorter windshield would look better. Can you take a pick of the inside of the fairing and how much did it set you back?
I am including a pic below. Thanks for the opinion on the lower screen. I have one and think I'll put it on later this evening. I bought the fairing on e-Bay for what I felt was a steal at $455.00. It actually was the correct color as well. It was almost like it was meant to be. It only had the two outer speakers installed when I got it. The other two holes were being used for gauges and a glove compartment of sorts. I added the two inner speakers to it. This thing really rocks!! I had the windshield mounted Harley Boom speaker prior to this and this one blows it away in sound quality. Of course more speakers and watts do make all the difference.
Here is the picture:
I felt the same when I put my fairing on, now I really like the look.
I personally like a lower windsheild
Looking at the picture of yours, now I'm thinking maybe the front fender on mine is what's throwing me off. I really like it on your bike. I'll swap the windshield and see where it goes from there. Thanks for your input.

Think its the light bar that makes it look different
I agree, a shorter windshield will make all the difference. Maybe a silver accent or pinstripe will cut up the blue a little bit. Almost looks to big being solid blue. I'd say you got a hell of a deal on that thing too. I've got about a grand into mine including paint..

Yep. Could definitely be the light bar. I was also looking at a Street Glide style front fender, but if I do that, new wheels might be in order. Geez, does the insanity ever stop..lol
