Center Stand - SoCals First "Winter" Mod
OKay.. First i gotta say Warg gave me the idea first....
Cost: $151 shipped>> Moco sells for over $310 plus S&H..
i bought from Debrix.com
Installation: Alignment was a beyotch. It took a lock on the front wheel at my buddy's speed shops lift and a punch and a lift to press up the left . side after i finger tightened the exhaust side bolts. Once aligned,
Hell Yeah, it was a breeze.....
Cool Factor: When you are the only one at the bike bar that sits straight up, its
kinda cool!
No-Likes: I cant ride slammed anymore. Not enough clearance. Ill . scrape the feet....
Function: Cleaning the wheels is sooooooo easy now!
Difficulty of use: I just hop off the bike, put my foot on the extender arm
and Wham! Shes upright! Easier than any Crotch rocket!
Pre existing holes... Sorry for those softtails 1999 and earlier... You guys have to drill and tap!
Final Thought: Ill keep it around for awhile. The Shotgun Shock makes it user friendly.. Adjusting the height and all.. I wont get rid of the OEM Jiffy stand cuz I like to lean Thug too..

I would shorten those legs so you can still get the slammed look at the bars.. That is my only dislike.. I love the stance but just bring it down.. Maybe measure to see how far the shotgun can take it down and then cut/chop and weld. Bike looks sick..

The center stand looks great on your bike. The whole bike is really sharp!
It says the center stand wont fit the FLSTSI. I wonder what is different about my bike that a center stand made to fit all of the other softails of the same year wouldn't fit mine? Perhaps the dual exhaust exiting on the left side... I know I would love a center stand...
Do you have the installation instructions/illustrations?
Maybe it could be made to fit my bike with a little modification...

Great mod at a great price. Sux it interferes with the shotgun. I think I've seen pics some where (oh yeah, that huge valuable thread that was deleted probably) of a center stand mounted up in the front, I'd guess where the engine guard would mount (it could have been the Jack).
