I did mine a year or so ago. I have it under the cowbell and the horn is on the shelf. I may remount it someday. I may just turn it over and run it without a cover that look is growing on me
Has anyone removed the seat post on there 2011 fatboy lo ? I'm getting ready to move the coil with a d&k relocation kit and I want the seat post gone. Is it a hard job? Thanks for any feedback. Oh ya I'm new so I hope this works.

It is a bit of a tight fit to get that out of there, takes about 20 minutes, but it is very nice to have the space opened up.
Removing the factory coil mounting post from backside of rear cylinder. (Optional)
1. Remove the bolt from where the coil mounting post meets the crankcase. 2. With the seat removed, remove the bolt from where the top of the coil mounting post meets the top of the frame. 3. Remove the gear shift linkage from the transmission and swivel the linkage out away from the motor. 4. Carefully remove the coil mounting post. This requires the post to be slightly lifted and pulled toward the primary cover. 5. Reconnect your linkage and reinstall the bolt to the top of the frame.
