Default For those with black ceramic exhaust

Thinking about taking advantage of the $99.00 Rush exhaust extravaganza, but all they have is the black ceramic finish to fit my ride.
I'm cool with that but wonder how well the finish will hold up. On chrome, rock chips and scratches aren't particularly noticeable unless you get right up on it but with the black I imagine they'd show quite a bit more due to the silver base color of the metal poking through the black finish.
So, with that being said, how durable is the ceramic finish? Does it get all boogered up from gravel dings due to normal riding?
Many thanks in advance!

Even if the black ceramic gets chipped or say your work pants melt on them (yeah it happens) they are really easy to sand down and paint. I took a blanket and covered up my engine and used some newspaper to cover my heat shields and it blended in perfectly... until I smeared it while it was still wet. They look nice and I haven't had issues besides some blemishes from letting stuff stick on them and melt. I'm bad about that.

Question for those of you running them........what do you use to clean off the road tar and baked-on bug spots? For a loonngg time, I've used fine-grade steel wool to get this stuff off chrome pipes, works great. But, wondering if you can use it on black ceramic pipes, or will it mar the finish?

i use a little oil on a micro fiber cloth, give them a slight rub down, then leave them a bit shiny, after one ride and the heat the shine goes away, works for me,

Placed the order. Hope mine come in flawlessly like the others who purchased.
Course' with my luck the whole thing will turn into a three ring circus and they'll arrive with an 8 inch scratch on each one LOL!
