Sash, two video of my train with Woods 555's....sounds the same as stock valve train to me, my open primary makes more noise than the cams.

I have heard of people having noise issues if they use the stock springs. I noticed on FuelMoto's site that their BB kit uses these cams but they note that new springs are required. Woods site has them listed as ok with stock springs. I wonder if FM is just covering themselves so they don't end up with complaints about excess noise.

First of all, I am not super-smart with engine internals but I think this is what I remember Jamie telling me when I got my 555s. I was going to reuese the stock pushrods. He said that they would work, but because of a slight difference in the size of the base circle (I think is what he said) that if I use the stock pushrods, I may end up with some chatter. I used adj push rods and don't notice any noise

I have the TW555 and TW6-6 cams in my bikes. Stock lifters can contribute to some noise with these cams. Now on to the pushrods. I used the stock pushrods in one bike, adj in the other and noticed a bit more noise than the one with the adjustable prods. I was changeing out the oil pump and added the adj prods , noise reduced. So i would say jamie is right on the money with what he told you. Oh ya, i also use the woods directional lifters.

Sash,
I dont post the numbers on the internet or share them with many people, but I will tell you they are above 100hp/100tq using the Fuel Moto 107, SE 50mm Throttle body, Big Boys Heads 83cc, Woods TW555 cams, we are going to an RB LSR pro stock pipe this summer.
Good luck with your build man, you still looking at those SE cams?

Ray

I am still doing a research, only reason i dont want to go with woods is the rummer of valve train noise,I do like the se204 dave mackie TC510L T-man 555 torqster,I put the installation on hold for few weeks,i dont want to rush in to this.
edit: by the way nice numbers, must be blast to ride that train.
