I replaced mine with a quick disconnect crossover line, because I got tired of spilling fuel.

Something like this: https://www.denniskirk.com/quick-dis...er.p193667.prd

Was the one you used this long, 12" just seems like there'd be a lot of excess?

I think he's referring to leaking/loosing some when he needed to remove the tank.

Exactly. I was taking the tank off my RK enough times that I got tired off spilling gas.

The one on my RK is about 12", haven't put one on the Blackline yet.

Looks like that setup you have is discontinued. Any idea if it's available somewhere else?

Oh ok, I was wondering because the one on the Deluxe is only about 6.5". That would be a nice setup though.

For those who may want to make their own, you can find fuel line quick disconnects, just do a search for 5/16 fuel line quick disconnects. The only problem I seen in my quick search is that they all seem to be made out of plastic. There are some old threads on here where people used brass fittings, but I haven't found any, but I only done a quick search before heading out this morning.

This looks like the fitting used in poppavein's crossover.

I used the pinch/lock pliers. Still, getting those special hose clamps off and then putting new ones on is not fun. I like the HD braided version and that's what I'm going to next time.

I also intend to get a stock fuel line to tank connector at a swap meet and put a long hose on it and drain the tank into a gas can. Just turn on the fuel pump and keep your eye on the line.
