For my Blackline brothers and sisters... The "Slim" seat is now on the H-D site and they mention that it will fit the Blackline... woohoo Options!

... this low-profile solo seat features classic "tuck & roll" style upholstery and a minimalistic look that is the perfect complement to the SoftailŽ FXS BlacklineŽ model.

Softail Slim - Tuck & Roll solo seat

Funny, the solo seat is the biggest feature that makes me excited about this addition to the Softail fam. But I think the strange look of this bike is kinda starting to grow on me... I would still go for the Fatboy Lo instead I think if I wanted that style of softail.

I like the looks better after seeing the left side. Everyone's still hating these and blackline bars, but just like the wide tire and burly bar trend, looks like HD is trying to break away and go retro/bobberish with the old school bars. I think its refreshing. I mean a few years ago all you saw were mini trucks everywhere (try to find one now, a few die-hards) and then the black wheel polished lip thing. I think its great they're trend setting instead of mundane crap. Don't see any rice companies that always copy HD breaking out with these features. HD is breaking the mold and other bike companies see if it sells then copy it.

Additionally, I've been looking for a non-springed solo seat and I think you just showed me a pic of it.

I agree OWOF... Searchin around, the bike is getting fairly positive feedback on a lot of bobber builder sites.

Yup, at $199, I think it's a great option. Am pretty sure I'm going that same route.

I think I know where MOCO got their inspiration for this model...

And that's enough out of me on this thread

I think it looks great. I ride an Iron now, but I'd love to trade it for one of these.

Gas tank is too big.
Remember how nice the 4.2's looked on the older Softails?
They need to bring that exact size/shape back in the 1 pc.

If they want to make a "Slim" Softail fine.
Put FX forks on it and a smaller (WAAAY smaller) tank
and some non bargain basement style fenders.

Good looking seat on the slim. Would look really good on the blackline!

You can find Bad Boys are still plentiful if you aren't picky about the scallop colors. Why do they need to re-release the bike and hurt the re-sell value of the ones out there now? Plus a re-pro Bad Boy would have a TC motor, then it's just a copy not a Bad Boy. Just my .02

having the skinny rear tire does not do the bike any justice...it looks too disproportional like a chick with a nice set of racks and no ***
