Blackline Project Started
Your bike looks great!
Now let me see is I can answer all the Questions in one GO!
Q: Why buy a BL, which is a bike meant to cater to the newer "skinny tire" trend and plan to put a 200-250 on it?
A: Well, after seeing another members Blackline here with a wide rear, it made me think now that looks really Bad A$$. The overall look also really makes any bike really POP. Credit goes to XJAYX for sharing his Blackline with us all, which also helped inspire me to reach where I am today. Plus not to forget all the other amazing great guys here that helped me too with posting their feedback and so forth. This place is truly amazing when it comes to people and source of information.
Q: You have done some nice work to your bike! It looks great! But I can't believe after all of the work you have done that the reflectors are still on that bad boy!! c'mon bro
A: LOL well, I got some great new's brother

First off, love the mods, however, don't limit yourself to stock parts, I did a screaming eagle AC and instead of an AC cover I placed my fave CD which makes it unique to your taste, also the blackline is based on a softail frame, so looking for parts should not be that hard.

Finding a theme or shall I say choosing a them is quite a challenge, especially when vendors are out of stock or parts are back-ordered. Example the only reason I have a SE air-cleaner on at the moment, is because the RSD design I wanted is not available on any of the sites I purchase from.
As for the Grips, Rider pegs, Brake pedal. The same dilemma
either the pegs are available and the other parts are back-ordered, or the other way round. So for now HD had to do until I find that right set available Quote: 24V
I am posting here so I'm subscribed to this. I am very interested in the video. Your bike looks great!

Thanks Bro, I am nearly finished with the videos as I have had some requests to post various videos of my bike so nearly finished and should have them uploaded within this week. Again thanks to all the members here that helped me along the way, as you may know the Blackline is not a favorite for a lot off the showroom floor
Q: 5007 those bars look awesome!
I am going with the 12" ones from Todd's Cycle and am a little confused on which size of cables to order. I will get the 12" wiring extension from Harley but for the brake/clutch/throttle what + size did you order for 16" rise bars. I am thinking I can subtract maybe 3 or 4 inches from what you used for a 12" rise ape.
A: Honesty, if your going for 12", then just go for the Heritage stock cables as they would be perfect for size and save you lots of $$$

Great news and don't forget
So I would love to see the pictures of your Blackline once completed
I hope I have answered all questions raised
I have also attached the pictures of my Upper ABS Brake-line that seems to be a hot topic and debate for the ABS equipped Softy at the moment. I did not change the lower, as you can see from the Pictures and only changed the upper from Magnum.

Its growing on me too and the more I ride her the more I like her
First off nice looking sled.
Second, just wondering about what you did with the handle bar nuts(the ones securing the bars to the triple tree). Did you replace them with new ones or reuse the old ones? Just asking since the service manual says they are one time use nuts and are 18 bux a pop here in the Great White North.
Cheers,

I re-used the stock ones with no issues.
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Had the Bar's custom redone and pushed 6" forward and re-painted again.
New front and rear fender's painted black with a orange line to break up the black as I am still deciding on the art work to be done.
Still yet to do:
New front wheel
Yet to order:
Front & Rear white walls tires.
