My '92 Fat Boy resurrection
Not being convinced that I like the 21" aluminum wheel that came with the bike, I got an OEM Fat Boy solid from a friend of mine. I always liked the fat front tire look and thought it was going to look good on my bike. Swapped it out and I'm not feeling it. I'm letting it set for a day or two and see look at it again. If my initial impression sticks; that solid 16" wheel will be coming back off.
I'll get some pics tonight and get them posted.

Talked with a guy that owns a local motorcycle repair shop. He worked for Harley for over 25 years. I scored some apes, risers and a set of stretched tanks from him in exchange for doing some work on his Jeep. The tanks were new, but he had them airbrushed by local guys and the tanks were on display in his showroom.

Tom84FXST has been a huge help in pointing me in the right direction. So far, I have the outer primary cover off. Making a stepped block out of an old cutting board so that I can remove the compensating nut and the clutch basket. From what my manual shows, I can remove the clutch basket whole without having to disassemble it. Once I get the primary chain off, I need to pull the starter jack shaft and starter and then I can remove the inner primary. Once I'm to that point, I can measure for offset and potentially changing to chain final to help with rear tire clearance.
Keep in mind, I horse traded, ebayed old parts and made what I needed. Really, the only money I laid out was for the tranny sprocket, chain and rear sprocket from Zippers.
Got it all together and had a base gasket leaking on the rear cylinder. Had no idea how to fix that and no money to pay anyone. Me, my FSM and about 5 hours and I had it fixed. To date, no oil leaks from the base gasket.
Again, HUGE thanks to Tom for all of the email help and advice while I was tearing the primary apart for the chain final conversion!!

New front Avon 150/80-16 tire. It's a tight fit but nothing rubs and it tracks nicely. Also, sold the front fender and 21" wheel/tire that I got with the bike. Went with an RSD fork brace for now.

Traded a guy for an OEM Cross Bones seat. Turned some grade 8 bolts down for the springs to ride on, made a front tab and bolted it up. Also, you can see the round oil tank/battery box I switched. Managed to figure out a way to mount that without cutting anything off the bike or welding anything else on.

Made a side mount plate/tail light setup.

I had seen where people were selling drilled hand levers for about $65 a set. I really liked the looks, but not the price. LOL. Took mine off and drilled them.

Since I have an inverted wide glide frontend with 58mm tubes, I couldn't find a way to mount my front turn signals. Found this headlight on ebay and wired in the signals. Have gotten a lot of comments on it.
