round 1 winter mods

ok the jockey shift did not fit even after i told the guy what bike i had, i got a "ya ya ya"
well guess what ? ya ya ya dont fit, he was willing to make a bracket, but imo really did not have a idea, for the $$ i dished out i think you should be able to bolt it on

what i did was take some cardboard, make a template of ignition coil / motor mount
and cut up some 3/16 flat stock drilled 3 holes and whala bracket done!
(shoulda came with this,& i am going to call mr.labriola and see if he wants this
template so the next bloke w/ a rocker who wants to have a jockey shift
wont have to go through what i did ok 2nd rant over LOL
yes kowan i already rattled canned the shift linkage(picture soon), the stock linkage was plain so i made that slow chrome linkage faster by applying flat blak to it LOL
next i heated up the shifter and bent it to where i want cuz the ya ya ya version dont work took me about 3-4 times but hey i did not get burned once! pretty good for a rookie
lastly a new teaser shot of a fender im gunna hack up and try to make look kewl
paid 140 shipped not to shabby

oh yeah its the 4th day in a row of 75 degrees+

WTF? for march in chicago its great im going to have to rent a bike cuz im startin to jones pretty good now
please dont ask about exhaust thats another disaster story of
ya ya ya it'll fit my *** im starting to realize its time to start making everything myself
