05 heritage Needs New Bags-info???
I currently have the quick detach set-up on my stock bags. Do any aftermarket bags re-use this? I am looking for something like the Road King Custom bags. No studs, braids,- just nice, quality looking bags. I have a HD paint set on the bike so painting hard bags might be hard to match (and expensive) Any ideas?

I sent my stock studded sagging Cisco Kid looking stock Heritage bags to a company called Osprey Saddlebag Co. He has a website. He used my stock bags as a pattern and made heavier *plain* bags using the stock backing and heavier straps and quick release buckles. I think it was $400 maybe a little less. He will make anything you want.

Those leather bags are exctly what I am looking for. Thanks for the advice, will call today.
I would paint but to buy hard bags and get them painted is about 2 grand, atleast. Too much.

I also bought a set of bags from Osprey, and love them. I paid around $500, but that included the EasyBrackets. David will make them as plain or fancy as you want. They are reinforced so there's no sag. Good quality stuff!
