I'm 6'2" and tried a sprung seat on my FBL and felt out of place. It was like why get the lowest factory bike (at the time, now Blackline holds that place) and sit up on it. You however may be more comfortable getting up off the ground some. I rode hardtails for years and I guess that sprung seats make feel disassociated from the bike and for 35 years I'm use to the feel through the frame and the sound and can tell immediately if somethings out of place.

I wouldn't lower just front end and not rear or you'll have some erratic handling. Just my .2

After lowering my Train 2" in the rear and doing a 2" Progressive spring drop in the front, my lepera bare bones was not the best choice of seats. Might as well been a hardtail.

So U'll be doing this to Ur Car? Truck? Lawnmower??...

Sorry just had to have a little fun. Its been a little dry in here for a while.

Reckon U own a Softy or U wouldn't be in this section. I've been around a long time and i don't remember ever seeing a chopper stlye sprang seat.

Thinking at Ur height it'd really sit U low to the ground and then with the 2'' short tubes it'd be even lower.

also seems I've read in here just lowering the front end makes for an unstable ride. more so than just doing the rear.

If you have a Night Train it is already 2" lower than a Custom our Standard in the rear straight out the box.
