Why do they even make 95 kits?
I belive you can't do any clean up of a 98". So once they need honed and an oversized piston in 75k miles you have to buy new jugs. Where a 95" you can over bore to 96-7-8" of course by the time you ned yo hone a 98" you'll be ready to split the cases to freshen up the bottom end.

I already called and told him to do the 98...I can always get my hands on another set of jugs!

SoCal, you got me jealous with those heads so I knew I had to get started. Heads next year though, I think i'll have a set done at Head Quarters...i heard they will give me 1 more HP over S&S heads haha!

Default motor

I went all the way with a stage four motor every thing but a stroker kit which is not recommended for the B motor. I do not think i could ever ride a bone stock Harley again. Its there when you want it. the cvo bikes with the bigger motors will have a hard time keeping up with a built 95 the factory motors are all street legal and bogged down with all the epa crap. I think you would have to be crazy to install a street legal upgrade a waste of money. Only thing is when you do your motor and its not street legal you loose your warranty. yea i know the stealer will tell you they will honor it lets just hope you never have to call them on it.I had 800 miles on mine when i had the motor built my warranty went right out the window

Yeah, buddy!! Besides that whole "1 extra horse" you're gonna have a few more inches too !!! I have the 95 on mine you son of a b....!!! 98 just sounds more badass!!!!

I'm just buttoning up some things. Aside from a few loose ends, I'm pretty much done for rd 3. I'm waiting for a couple things from SLICKCUSTOMS.COM.
They dropped the ball. I ordered some little things from them3 weeks ago and they still haven't shipped them.

And I woulda been done but Deans thread tempted me to do exhaust as part of rd 3. Gonna get on the Dyno tomorrow!! Before heads, I had 80 hp and 93 tq. I'm looking forward to seeing new #s!!

Nikons bike has been one of my inspiration bikes, I guess you could say. Good to see you on the thread, bud!!! I really like the fishies, but agonized over a FatCat and the Duals. After seeing all Nikons performance mods and having the Fishies, that made my decision for me.

Since exhaust is a reasonably easy install, I'll keep the VnH BRs around and next fall switch to the FatCat then. Or Maybe just get another bike altogether.

Now 4 more hours til Happy Hour and cracking open that Single Barrel!!!
HAPPY THURSDAY,Boyz!!!!!!

You dont need three more inches if you have a Porsche! haha

Just throw a 120R in next year and be done with it! you can stop and have a beer while you wait for everyone to catch up...

Two things I didn't see U mention is New Lifters and torrington cam bearings.

Talking to four wrenches, three said if U have 15k miles on her U need new to install new lifters, only one of the four I talked to said 20k is his cut mileage.

Some in here think anytime U change cams to put new ones in.

Ur call.
