Quick Cam Chain Question
I just bought a 2006 Fat Boy. I have been trying to remember when Harley went to the roller chain and hydrolic tensioner. Was it 2006 or 2007? I'm guessing that since I have a 2006 it was in 2007

Thanks for the quick reply. After I posted, I remembered it was when they went to the 96ci in 07. Mine is an 88ci; but it only has 8000 miles so I have time before the tensioners need to be checked.

Its a lottery, on when U need to do new tensioners, some 20k, some 50k.
I will say it seems more are going with the HYD upgrade than Gear cam any more.
IF Ur 88 is still stock I'd for sure do the HYD upgrade with cams,, MAJOR diff when U do it...
