Does anyone know if a softail slim rear suspension can be put on a fatboy 09?
Basically i am trying to lower my bike as much as i can (fatboy 09), i've put a lowering kit on the rear and front and need to go a bit more... i've heard the softail slim is lower than the fatboy lo?
Get you a shotgun shock and lower that thing down to the frame stops! You will also have a suspension that can be customized for riding styles or conditions. I love mine!
The inventor JD is a forum sponsor here and his customer service can't be beat.
or instead of paying $1500 for an air ride, you can buy a set of progressive 422's for about $450 or so, or you can get a set of lowering bolts for your stock suspension for like $20.
Make sure you talk with JD if you're interested. He is a super nice guy that will take the time to adress any issues or questions. I think his username is J.D.1
As a forum sponsor he may even cut you a deal?

Sounds like he already has a lowering kit of some sort but it isn't enough?

I've already got HD lowering kit on it, does the progressive shocks make it much lower than what i've got now?
The HD kit says it only allows up to 1-inch of lowering. The aftermarket bolts allow 2 inches of drop. Any lower than that, and you'll be shopping for an air suspension.
