Default Heritage Softail Lowered?

I am new to softail ownership. I have noticed that my 2009 Heritage scrapes the floorboard a lot. I am talking normal turns and not twisties. Is there a quick way of telling if the bike has been lowered? I know it normally would be lower than my Ultra, but it seems quite low to me.

Post a picture. We can tell.
Look at the lower fork legs. There should be about 2" of the fatter part showing before they disappear ito the cowbells (tech term).
Standing straight up (have someone sit on the bike holding it up). There should be about 5" of clearance from the frame to the ground. While they're there, measure the lowest part of the back fender to the ground *from the middle of the chrome tip*

If it helps look at my sig/pic. My Heritage is stock height.

Stock, mine was so tall you couldn't scrape them if you wanted to, so I'm guessing yours been lowered.

I scrape mine if I dive hard in a corner, and it is not lowered. I also extended my boards out, so that may have something to do with it. I just do not try to dive hard into too many turns, and if I do it scares the crap out of me each time!

I hear that. Every time I even think about plowing through a tight corner, I see bits of gravel strewn right in my path. Talk about butthole pucker.

I was out last night for an hour or so riding up through Yellow Springs on some nice twisties and sure enough, each tight corner: bits of gravel...

If you lower it there will be scrapin and a good tip is to drill hole in bottom of floorboard and put a bolt through with nut on top that way when you do scrape it is eating up the bolt head and not the bottom of your boards and you can replace the bolts as they wear out.

Over the yrs in here I've read where some owners do scrape a lot.

If Ur used to riding a little aggressive then, Yes U can scrape Ur boards often.

Myself being an ole fart and ride slow I can say I've only scraped my twice in the 36k Ive put on her.

Last summer two others and I rode the Blue Ridge Skyline and Parkway for about 250 miles and with all those curves I never touched once. Could have, but we just did't take
them all that fast.

If Ur lowered then it'd be fairly easy then.

I just measured mine leaning on the Jiffy stand and it's 22 1/2 '' from the floor the the middle of the little Circle in Right rear turn signal lens.

I have the leather mud flap on the rear and it sticks out so I didn't measure the fender.

Thanks for the tips and measurements. The center of my right tail light while on the side stand is 22 3/4" and the fat part of my front fork is almost 3" exposed. I guess it is stock and not lowered.
