Heritage Softail Lowered?
My advice to all riders who lower bikes. Do it the correct way. Do not just slam the rear end down. The geometry is screwed up which throughs the bike off. If you are going to lower it you must:
Change front springs and use heavier oil
Change rear inner spring shocks to higher thickness and coils
Change the angle of the kick stand
Then you need to remove engine guards and raise floor boards

To see if the rear has been lowered there will usually be a screw tht lengthens the shocks. In a Softail you ut longer shocks on to make the bike lower. Adjust it to make the shocks shorter and you may gain some lean angle. My Heritage is not lowered, but I scrape all the time. I do prefer I to the Night Train that I used to have. On that bike it was your boot heels that dragged in the corner. Now that will get your attention.
