2 1/4" Black 36" w/ torque cones and baffles (not decibel killers:P)...has been ordered. Special order...should be here in a few weeks in time for the final dyno.
JR said baffles with torque cones won't hurt for the 36's I just ordered. Supposeably torque cones give another 5 TQ...but for my 103 low end TQ set up (255 cams) as per sig, is it worth having both on the pipes? I just searched a bunch of threads and all I get is a mix bag of reviews.
Help! I still have time to change the order if needed.
Edit...
NM will see what the dyno guy says...will ask him to run with and without TQ cones when time comes.

First off, my thread to keep my mods in one thread has been moved to tech forums...so sorry for another thread again
OK...after scratching my head for the last couple months about what to do with the Lo after the tins are said and done, I keep going back to two pics. one with the teal blue Calvary bags on a Roadking and the other an orange Deluxe bagger with 2" duals. Therefore, Calvary hard bags w/ Samson 2" black duals (probably 33") with simple aluminum finish endcaps. Even though it will be a bagger, I feel it still will look awesome as old skool and at the same time very functional for my numerous day rides. And yes a wimpshield will be part timed...where I live the afternoon gusts can be a biatch on the highway.
Now to get a hold of a Samson rep to get the ball rolling. Btw does anyone know if Freedom Performance is still in business...no replies to emails and their facebook looks inactive.
O btw NC Deluxe...again thanx for showing us that old skool pic of yours. That's what crossed the line for me. Cheers.
Anyways here are the pics including mine on the bench...
I was researching bags over the Holidays also, decided to start with the front end instead.......putting a fairing on my Fatboy. I have to say that my first choice was the Calvary bags.........I like those horizontal ribs on the outboard sides of the bags.......they just cool looking. My big issue was exhaust, are you going to change the exhaust to duals........will they fit on a Fatboy. I don't seem to have alot of room to shoot a pipe out the left side.

Ya man going duals just like the orange pic but black and without fishtails. Duals may seem tight but from the different dual makes I seen, most fit like a glove.
do you have to go duals, or could you go with a 2:1 like a thunderheader?
When I look at bags on other bikes...it never feels right with the empty space underneath. But that's just a matter of preference.
I like many types of pipes, but matters on what bike. Meh....I chose the duals, where I think they look great on most softails with or without bags..in turn gives options.
