200 rear tire, Heartland stuff should be here tomorrow, more pics later.
Thats is some serious sick *** stuff right there! The more I see the slims the more I want one! I planned on getting a street glyde, but I may just bag my fat boy and get a slim for my round town crusing! How much is hearltand setting you back for the 200 kit? Just struts/fender/rockgaurd/seat right? 2200$ seems awfully steep for just 4 pieces........I do love the look of their stuff tho, I'd go 250!
Maybe it's cause the FB lo has those ugly a$$ disc wheels and lacked the cool bar and front fender of the Slim....
just say'n.....
yeah but changing out the bars and the front fender of a fatboy Lo is a much cheaper route then swapping out the entire rear end. also lowering the ride and wheels is something that can be changed easily also. i'm not trying to flame but isn't the skinny tire what makes the slim a slim?
ummm....yes....slim, minimal, low....It has a 140 from the MoCo on the rear(how big do you really need) but biggest dif is the Spoked Wheels......Thank you H-D
I dig the slim, I've got 18"/21" spoke combo on the way for my lo......The slim has the bobbed rear fender, same as the blackline, but a traditional fat boy front end, not the ultra skinny 21", I am going to hard bag my fat boy lo and get a slim for short runs, will probably get a heartland 250 kit, 14" apes and go clarity line all around

I really like my slim , I agree with your statment, if you go and change too much of the slim then its no longer what it was ment to be. I for one like that old school bobber look with the bars and wheels.
