Hi, very nice looking Slim. Nearly identical to mine - haha.

I have the same Big Radius 2 into 2 pipes and mine are popping, backfiring on deceleration - all the time. It's very annoying. I've taken my bike back to the dealer, twice, and they are telling me that they can't get rid of the popping etc because it's the fault of the BR 2-2 pipes! Something to do with hot and cool air passing through and back into the pipes. They claim they have remapped the SE Pro Tuner and there's nothing wrong with the EFI system.

Are you experiencing this with your BR 2-2 pipe setup?

I've got the V&H Big Shots Staggered Black on my Slim with 'Stage 1' (via a SERT) and they pop and bang on the overrun all the time.

Doesn't bother me though.

I have the same setup (pipes and stage 1 dyna tune) since I did my stage 1 with the exception of using a v&h or other air filter. The stealer advised me to use only harley air filters as they have had less issues with them.. I have an occassional decel pop. But not often.

I'm having my Slim dyno'd on Thu which will improve performance and according to the Tech, will get rid of the popping as a part of the re-mapping. Don't know why the dealer couldn't map out the problem - lazy bastards! By the way, I've changed my pipes to V&H Big Shots Staggered. These pipes will increase HP over the BR2-2.

Will let you know how it goes.
