Were they Wild 1's or H-D or something?
I've got Stock Heritage bars on my Fatty and I'm considering some Chubby's but can't decide on a particular bar.. It's amazing how subtle differences in geometry are dramatic when you're riding. I just pulled mine back at the riser just a little bit and it was a night and day improvement.
Hopefully I can take some pics tonight... if it isn't raining...
The bars are stock HD mini-apes off a 2002 Wide Glide. They're great I can go lock to lock without changing my seating position at all, and that REALLY helps with tight, low speed turns. I really had to reach with the stock drag bars,a nd it caused me to take the turns wider than I should have.
