Default 2008 night train wiring question

I'm putting my side mount license plate braket on the scoot. Does anyone know the color of the "run" wire that runs back to light the license plate? Also need the color of the ground wire if anyone knows off hand. Thanks.

IIRC, I tied my plate light into the blue wire. Black is ground. I tied my side mount wiring under the seat, there is a connector for the rear lighting on the right side of the battery.

Thanks for the info. That's exactly what I was planning on doing. I didn't get to finish it up today by will in the AM.

I know this is a old post, but was wondering which side you put your plate on. I am in the middle of the install on the left side now, but thinking of switching to the other side now.

Went with the left side install. Came out pretty well.

That looks really good. Any tips for running he wires? How did you route them up to under the seat?

Thanks Moomba. I routed them up along the upper swingarm. Used plastic ties to secure the wires to the frame. I had some slack that I bundled up and attached to the frame with a tie under the seat. Was pretty easy to run the wirse after I figured out where the heck they needed to go. lol. What kit did you get? Kuryakan? It looks great at night man.

It is Kuryakyn. Did you wire red to the blue wire in the rear harness and black to the black wire in the harness? Thanks

Do you have a picture of the wire connections?

Looks good! I just made a bracket at work and bought a street magic LED plate frame for $25. I'll be getting it powder coated soon. I mounted mine horizontally, and attached it to where the passenger peg would go right behind the primary.

I also tapped into the blue & black wire in the connector mentioned above.
