Just a thought but if you go with a 23 will you need more spokes to fill up the extra space so you get the same appearance as your rear wheel? I too am thinking a 23 since you are running it fenderless.
Ya my rear is only a 40 spoke, so a 60 would look good I think. My big concern with a 23 is the abuse it can take. I beat the crap out of my bike. Thanks for the replies still undecided. No 26 thats for sure.
I played with a few combinations on my Softail and I have found the 120 by 21 inch metzler to handle the best. It's an '03 with a 150 by 16 rear..... the 120 is on a 3.5 inch wheel in this photo.... can't run 'em fenderless in Maine.... I wouldn't anyway....
I have only seen one guy on here running a 23 on that fl front end without raking it. I didnt notice that before. I cant remember who but it is a green bike chomed the fack out........ I still say the 23!!!! I think 2D's bike has an 80 spoke on it, looks bad ***!!!
Funny I just came across that thread. I know I got a fl front on, been through a few on this ol black dog, latest was part of a 3 way front end swap to get it . Looks like a 23 would clear but, damn it would be close. Thanks for looking that up for me.
