2012 Softail Service & Electrical Manual Updated
Hey,
Does anyone know if there is a way to get the updates if you already bought the manuals without having to pay another $60 for new manuals again?
I ask this because while browsing the sight for the parts manual I noticed the 2012 Service & Electrical manuals now have an "A" at the end of the part number for the manuals. My manuals I bought in October don't have it. I heard that the MOCO does do updates on the manuals occasionally and I would assume by putting an "A" at the end of the part number they have updated it.
My manuals # are 99482-12 (2012 Softail Service Manual)
99498-12 (Electrical Diagnostic Manual)
The new ones on the site are: 99482-12A (2012 Softail Service Manual)
99498-12A (Electrical Diagnostic Manual)
Here's the MOCO site:

Note: I am not looking for illegal digital copies of the updated manual. Just how to obtain the legal one the right way.

The Service manual & Electrical Diagnostic Manual has been updated some way. So, either instructions on how to do something or part references have been found to be wrong in the original manual and they updated it.
I am wondering if the MOCO will give out updates for the pages that have been changed in the manuals. I doubt very much they will let me exchange my older version manuals for new updated ones.
Has anyone ever delt with this before?
