Default Went to the Touring side

well guys, Ive enjoyed the softail way of life for a few years now but the Touring bikes always kept calling me. I was trying to justify 2 bikes but with 2 young kids, other bills, etc. I cant do it. So, I just made the deal to trade my Deuce for a 2006 RKC. Im excited but know Im gonna miss the Deuce. I have a feeling I'll have another softail in my future, maybe then I can have 2 bikes. Learned a lot in this section, thanks guys

I went the other direction. I've had dressers-84 Classic, 98 Ultra and then an 02 Road Glide till last spring. Retired in April and treated myself to a Fatboy Lo. After riding it about two months and making it mine with various mods I up and sold the 98 and 02. Don't think I'll go back either. So smooth and comfortable but short on power which I will fix. Got RK bags and might even get a fairing for fall and spring riding but it's great to be able to have feet flat on the ground.

Got to keep both. I ride an Ultra Classic when the wife goes, and an Fat Boy when solo. The best of both worlds, for me anyway.

Enjoy the touring bike.

I couldn't give up the comfort of my Glide so I kept it and got the XBones...best of both worlds...with two kids I understand it can be tough...good group of guys in that forum as well. Enjoy the RKC
