Default Extended Controls Q

Hello, I'm considering getting a foot control extension kit for my '01 night train but I've never had extended controls and I was wondering if 3" is too much for 6'2". My bike has drag bars and I trying to figure out if I'll be more uncomfortable stretched out than I currently am with my knees over the sides of the tank. Any input/advice would be great!

Gabe

I'm 5' 9" and I have ridden bikes with 2" extended and was very comfortable.

Thanks for the replies! If 2" at 5'9" was comfortable, I should be fine with 3"

Well for me 3" is the best feeling and comfort and I am 6'2, I felt cramped with the stock FWD control setup and now with the 3" installed the handling feels way better. NO regrets here

Do they offer 1" extensions?

I have only seen 2 / 3 / 4 never seen 1" I guess if your going for 1" then seat change would be a better option.

I'm 5'10" and made my own 3 1/4" extensions and my legs are still slightly bent while riding. You should be fine.
