Well, I orderedthe Ness-Tech 3" Forward Control Extentionthe other day along with a S&S Super E carb kit and Kuryakyn front smoked LED light kit.

Hopefully it will come by the weekend so I can install.

sgtrod91, you will need a buddys hand to bleed the rear brake.

I just put a set on my '06 Softail Std last night. The install was pretty straight forward, the quality is top notch everything fit nicely. Make sure you use plenty of the supplied blue loctite on all of the bolts. You'll need to put the bike up on blocks or a jack to take the left side controls and kickstand off. The bleeding is easy, use a small piece of hose from the bleeder into a jar.Be careful of getting brake fluid on the paint. I did end up taking off the pipes to make things easier. Rode to work this morning and it was great! I would definately recommend this mod to guys over 6'.

How does the Ness kit go about extending the brake line on the right side? Any pics of installed extensions?

The kit comes with an extended steel brake line with a splitter block for the rear brake light pressure switch.

I don't have the ness tech ones but I have the Harley ones. I got them off ebay, I don't remember how much I paid for them. The quality is awesome and the kickstand doesn't hit anything. The kit comes with the stainless rear brake line and the longer shift linkage. Here's a pic.

SO do you have to take the floorboards off to install these extension kits? I'm 6'3" and sometimes my 07 Deluxe can feel a bit crammed....but I love the floorboards!

I installed the extensions at the same time I went to forward controls on my Springer Classic. I decided to go back to the floorboards a couple of weeks ago and left the extensions on. Works great with the F/Bs!!! I'm not sure why they don't advertise them for use with floorboards as well. Maybe there's an issue I don't know about but they sure work for me.

You ditched the forwards? That was some work to go to forwards from floorboards wasn't it? I remember when you did that. No kidding.. The extensions work with the floorboards?? I'd love to see some close-up pics of that.
