Hello, I currently purchased a 98 springer softail and was told the other day that it was a steaming eagle edition Harley and that it may have a bigger motor than the 1340 ci. Does anyone know if they even made such a thing?
Harley didn't start making Screamin Eagle models until 1999. The first Screamin Eagle was a FXR (Dyna). It may have Screamin Eagle heads or other engine/ignition party installed, but I highly doubt it is a Screamin Eagle edition bike.
Hello, I currently purchased a 98 springer softail and was told the other day that it was a steaming eagle edition...
If it's a 98 then maybe it is a "STEAMING Eagle" edition...? Do you have to burn coal in the tank for it to run?
LOL. Sorry. I'm just having fun at the expense of what is probably your auto-correct!
Probably just means that the engine has been modified from stock by a former owner but not that it was manufactured as part of Harley's Screamin' Eagle line of motorcycles.
