Can you take and post a picture of your present shock setup?
My 2005 SE Fat Boy comes with HD low profile shocks, same as the Deluxe and I believe the Fat Boy LO. If I wanted to raise the rear I would swap my present shocks with the regular Softail shocks. This would raise the rear about an inch.
Most shocks are set at the softest setting. if you adjust them to the firmest setting you will raise the rear approximately 5/8". That is per my measurements on my bike, with low profile shocks.

I bought a Black Widow. It's got a weight limit of 800lb's. It cost me $125. shipped. Search around. Harbor Freight has a couple. Or like previously stated, Sears. The only thing besides
max weight is lowest height. Now that I've lowered my Softail, I have to put the rear tire on a 2x6 to get the jack under her. And it'll get her up 2ft.

I got lucky on my '09 Heritage that the previous owner had lowered. The dealership had some take-off shock bolts from a Softail that they had lowered. I used them to put my bike back to stock height. A call to your dealer might score some bolts if they have them laying around.

I tried to get a picture, but because I do not have a lift so I could only get about 2 inches from the shocks for the pictures. Nothing but a big graish blur is all I could get. Sorry.
